This policy explains what tygr collects, why, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. It describes the tygr iOS app and nothing else.
tygr is operated by Dhanya Gopinath (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy, including a request to access or delete your data, write to support@tygr.site.
You sign in to tygr with Apple or Google. When you do, we receive, through Supabase Auth:
tygr has no passwords, so we never see or store one.
If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple’s private relay address and never see your real one.
The questions asked when you first open the app: your date of birth, your experience level, your preferred weight unit, how many days a week you train, your training goal, and whether you want workout reminders.
Your date of birth is used to check you are at least 13. We store the date; we do not use it for anything else.
Your experience level, training goal and how many days a week you train are stored but are not currently used for anything. We keep them so that training features we add later can be shaped around your answers instead of asking you again. If you would rather we did not hold them, deleting your account removes them along with everything else.
Everything you log: exercises, sets, reps, weights, session duration and when each session happened, and the routines you save.
We use one service provider. It processes data on our behalf, under contract, and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes.

Signing in itself is handled by Apple or Google, under their own privacy policies. They confirm who you are; we send them nothing about your training.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Your account data and training history are kept for as long as your account exists.
When you delete your account, everything listed above is erased from our database immediately, including your authentication record. Backups made before the deletion are overwritten on our providers’ normal rotation, within 30 days.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it you can do yourself:
For anything else, including a copy of your data in a portable format, email support@tygr.site and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, and to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
tygr is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email support@tygr.site and we will delete it.
Traffic between the app and our servers uses TLS. Database rows are protected by row-level security policies, so an authenticated user can read and write only their own rows.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our providers operate in the United States and elsewhere. Where data leaves the UK or EEA it is transferred under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
