Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Dhanya Gopinath (“we”, “us”) for the tygr iOS app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use tygr.

1. Who can use tygr

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

You need an account to use tygr. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account.

2. tygr is not medical advice

This matters more than anything else here.

tygr lets you build routines and fills in weights from what you have logged before. It is a fitness tool, not a medical device, and nothing it produces is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Resistance training carries a risk of injury. By using tygr you accept that risk.

3. Your content

Your workouts and routines are yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You give us permission to store and process them for the purpose of running the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete your account.

4. Our content

The app, its design, its exercise library and its code are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by copyright. You may use tygr for your own personal training. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute it.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Progress → Settings → Delete Account. This erases your workouts, routines and profile permanently, and it cannot be undone.

We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, breaks these terms, or attempts to circumvent its limits.

6. Availability

We aim to keep tygr working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. Features may change or be removed.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, tygr is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any injury arising from exercise you chose to perform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use tygr after that means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and may bring proceedings there.

10. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for tygr. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
